The women's march took place this weekend and is an event we've supported and attended in the past. This year, Black Lives Matter was not invited to speak at the event - something they've been invited to do all three years prior - which seems cementing of the whispers of a leadership rooted in racism. And further calls into question the celebrity lineup and lack of grassroots activists.
Today, in honor of MLK and in support of inclusive feminism, we will be donating our profits to @BLMLA. If feminism is not for all of us, it's for none of us. In the words of MLK, "The ultimate measure of a (wo)man is not where (s)he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where (s)he stands at times of challenge and controversy".
